The Story of “The Little Insurance Agency That Could”
The founder of Ricci Insurance Group, Whitney Ricci, started her career in insurance in 2007 at State Farm where she spent 7 years in sales & operations management roles. In 2014, with hopes of being able to provide the same relationship based agency model for clients, but with a variety of “A” rated insurance company options, she left to open an independent agency with Palm Insurance. Many clients & agency friends like to recall that Whitney became pregnant with twins 6 months after starting the agency, before she had even hired her first employee! In 2019, her team branched off & rebranded as “Ricci Insurance Group,” & began to establish a presence in the Tampa Bay market, as well as their headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. Going into 2023, the team has grown to 20 team members. We are licensed in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, California, Texas & Washington DC, and have achieved Diamond & Platinum status with different insurance companies, and served on multiple agent special advisory councils. They are especially proud of the charity referral program they launched in 2020.
The team provides clients with various options for homeowners, auto, business, and life insurance needs. They specialize in working with small-to-medium-sized business owners, and real estate investors.
