Get to know Melissa Crane
Manager of Agency Support
Melissa Crane is the Manager of Agency Support at Ricci Insurance Group, where she leads the Personal Lines Agency Support team as well as the agency’s Accounting department.
Since joining Ricci Insurance Group four years ago, Melissa has progressed from Agency Support Specialist to Account Manager and now Manager of Agency Support. That hands-on experience gives her a strong understanding of the work her team handles every day and the level of service clients expect from the agency.
Melissa’s insurance experience spans both Personal and Commercial Lines, including investment properties, commercial property, restaurants and more complex accounts. In her current role, she is often a resource for the Personal Lines team when an account requires a closer look. She is particularly skilled at investigating the details of a client’s needs, working through coverage questions and helping determine the best approach when a situation isn’t straightforward.
With more than 10 years of management experience, Melissa is passionate about developing people and helping her team grow. She combines that leadership background with strong coverage knowledge, attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to help ensure clients receive consistent, responsive support throughout their relationship with Ricci Insurance Group.
Melissa holds a Florida 2-20 General Lines license and is also involved in helping team members prepare for their own insurance licensing and professional development.
Outside of work, Melissa loves spending time with her family. Running is her favorite way to relax and recharge, and she enjoys being part of a women’s book club where members learn from one another’s perspectives. She’s also hoping to spend more time on the golf course this year.
