Get to know Jessica Gould
Senior Commercial Agent
Jessica Gould is a Senior Commercial Agent at Ricci Insurance Group specializing in commercial insurance for contractors, restaurants and other businesses with more complex coverage needs.
Jessica has five years of insurance experience spanning both property and casualty and health insurance. At Ricci, she has worked as an all-lines producer and team lead before moving into her current role focused exclusively on commercial insurance.
Her areas of expertise include contractors, electricians, plumbers, restaurants and childcare businesses, with extensive experience across general liability, workers’ compensation, commercial auto and other supporting commercial coverages. She is particularly skilled at accounts involving contractual insurance requirements, where specific limits, policy language or endorsements must be in place before a client can begin work.
Jessica’s approach combines strong coverage knowledge with persistence and problem solving. She takes the time to understand how a business operates, explain insurance in practical terms and work directly with carriers and underwriters when an account requires a more creative solution.
That approach has produced some significant results for her clients. In one case, Jessica helped an electrical contractor restructure a multi-line insurance program that included workers’ compensation, commercial auto, general liability, cyber and inland marine coverage, ultimately reducing the company’s annual insurance cost by approximately $60,000 while addressing its coverage needs.
In another challenging situation, a new contractor came to Jessica after six other agents had been unable to secure insurance that satisfied the requirements of a subcontractor agreement. Jessica worked through the contract and underwriting requirements and was able to place the necessary coverage within 12 days, allowing the client to move forward with the work.
Clients appreciate Jessica’s responsiveness and her ability to take what can be a complicated, time-consuming part of running a business and make it easier to manage. She believes a commercial insurance agent should understand the details, be willing to work through the difficult situations and help take as much of the insurance headache off the business owner’s plate as possible.
Jessica holds a Florida 2-20 General Lines license.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys boating, traveling and fostering animals.
