At Ricci Insurance Group, one of our favorite traditions is spotlighting a local nonprofit each quarter through our Charity Referral Program. This quarter, we are proud to shine the spotlight on JWB Cares, an organization that has been close to our hearts for many years.
Through our Charity Referral Program, more than $70,000 has been donated to a variety of local nonprofits since the launch in 2020, in the spirit of showing gratitude for our agency’s organic growth from referrals. That impact is something we are deeply proud of, and JWB Cares has been one of the more frequently spotlighted nonprofits.
This is actually the eighth JWB Cares Golf Tournament we have sponsored, and every year we are reminded why we chose to partner with them in the first place. Their mission is simple but powerful: creating affordable housing opportunities and stronger communities for families right here in Northeast Florida.
A Legacy of Big Goals and Bigger Impact
We still remember when JWB Cares set out with the bold goal of giving away an entire home to a veteran in need. At the time, that vision felt almost impossible, but they made it happen. Then they raised the bar even higher by giving away multiple homes. We have had the opportunity to be present during some of those moments when the keys were handed over and new homeowners walked into their house for the first time. It is impossible not to feel all the emotions in those moments as lives are changed right in front of you.
That kind of courage and commitment inspired us personally, and it became a turning point in how we wanted to run our own business. We knew then that philanthropy was not just something I wanted to support personally. We wanted to build it into the DNA and culture of Ricci Insurance Group.
Over the years, JWB Cares has continued to adapt its programs, always with the same theme at the core: affordable housing. Their initiatives have expanded over the years to include different forms of support and impact, but the mission of helping families find stability through housing has never wavered.
This Quarter’s Rally: Home is Where the Heart Is
JWB Cares’ current initiative is their Home is Where the Heart Is Rally, and it is one we are excited to support. Their goal is to raise $20,000 for each of eight resident families, helping them on their journey to homeownership. That means a total of $160,000 in impact. Each dollar raised brings these families one step closer to a safe and stable place to call home.
